A MAN has died after a motorbike hit a lamppost.
Damien Aspey, 22, of Howard Street, Wigan, suffered serious internal injuries
after the collision in Pemberton, Wigan
Police said the red Honda bike lost control at the junction of Leopold Street
and Kilshaw Street. It mounted the pavement then collided with the lamppost.
Mr Aspey died later at Wigan Royal Infirmary.
